We believe and work along with the natural property of the rotor, in which when a brake is applied the rotors are heated up. Our proprietary heat treatment process works exactly like this.
The casting (a rotor before machining) is heated up to a per-determined high temperature, and gradually cooling off. After cooled down to room temperature all possible deformation (warp, crack) would have happened during this process, the casting was then machined (become rotor).
Heat treatment also can relief stress and improve the micro-structure of the casting making the rotor more resistant to wear and last longer.
Although customers may want to have their rotors cryo treated at their own option but it's beyond our recommendation.
