Default Carbon Ceramic Rotors for Audi S6, S7, S8, Audi A8, Audi RS7

RacingBrake is pleased to offer this CCM rotor kit for All Audi late model (2013+) that are fitted with 6 piston calipers

This rotor will be 394x36mm same as OE Corvette ZR1/C7, Camaro Z28, Ferrari F458. Same discs were used in building CCM rotors for Nissan GTR - (Upgrading from OE iron rotors), Viper, Dodge Challenger, NSX G1, Tesla etc. So we are excited to be able to make the same offer for Audi owners.

Comparing to OE CCB rotor whether you are looking for retrofit or replacement, costs $4,100 a rotor.

RB-CCB rotor costs less than $3,000/ea, and the advantage is after initial purchase from RB you can just replace the rotor ring around $1,500 (buy from us, GM dealer, or online retailers) while you must purchase the complete rotor assembly from Audi again - Save a lot of money in upgrade and maintenance.

Our CCM rotor kit is designed with maximum flexibility and interchangeability. This kit will include necessary adaptors for a bolt on installation, retain the use of stock caliper & brake pads just like stock except you will realize the benefit of a low cost CCM rotor kit and help you save thousands of dollars in replacement down the road.

For RS7 that comes with 420x40 CCB - Converting to this 394x36 smaller kit and down size to 20" (possibly 19") wheels.

For RS7 w/Iron brakes (390x36) to upgrade to a 394x36 CCB

For S6/S7/S8 w/CCB or Iron both 400x38, can easily convert or upgrade to this 394x36 RB CCM rotor kit with a bolt on installation.

We will also supply and support the compatible brake pads for both street and track applications.

From this conversion fitment pic, it looks like a little deeper offset would help to clear the wheel spoke provided there is enough dust shield clearance.

So my theory is...

The calipers used on a standard S6 and a S6 Ceramic are both mechanically the same. They are both six piston Brembo calipers, but are either painted in black with "S6" writing, or are painted grey with "Audi Ceramic" writing.
The discs and pads used for a standard S6 and a S6 Ceramic are both the same size (400X38MM), however they are made of different material for the standard and ceramic versions.
Someone with a standard S6 could upgrade to Ceramic brakes by purchasing discs 4H0615301N & 4H0615302G (at around $4100 each) along with pads 4H0698151C (at $410). They can keep their existing calipers. For the full retrofit effect, they would need to paint their existing six piston Brembo calipers grey with "Audi Ceramic" writing .
Someone with a Ceramic S6 who doesn't want to pay $8000 for replacement ceramic discs could downgrade to the standard S6 brakes by purchasing a pair of discs 4H0615301M (at around $220 each) along with pads 4G0698151F (at around $210). They can keep their existing calipers. They should then paint over the "Audi Ceramic" writing with black paint to show that they've downgraded to the cheaper discs.

I have a 2016 S6. I am very interested in purchasing your 394x36 CCM rotors you mention above; however, I have 2 questions:

1. Since they are 6mm smaller in diameter that the factory steel rotors, how would these bolt up using the stock calipers without shaving down the stock caliper brackets?

2. What pads would fit the factory S6 calipers that would be compatible with these GM CCM rotor rings?
