Question Problem with RB Stainless Steel Pistions for Brembo Calipers

Hi, I've bought the Stainless Steel Pistons offered by RB, along with RB caliper rebuild kit.

My calipers are off a Mitsubishi Evo 8, the same caliper as Evo 7 and 9 which also came with Brembos.

I installed the pistons but couldn't get them to go in to the caliper, I thought it was my doing so I took it to a brake shop.

After taking the calipers and RB pistons/rebuild kit to a brake shop they too couldn't get the pistons into the calipers - saying it was catching on the seals.

They suggested that the non-OEM seals may in fact be the problem, as they have had similar issues before with non genuine seals.

So after getting genuine Brembo seal kit, yes they could get the pistons in, but some of the pistons are stuck now and I cannot fully compress the pistons fully inward like some of the others do...

The calipers are very clean and low km, the way I see it this can only be caused by the specifications of RB aftermarket pistons.

Maybe someone can give insight or has solved this issue before?

Thanks
