We have rear two-piece rotors ready for fitment test but our email to Roy Bacchus requesting to test on his car has not yet been responded.

Can you help to post on your forum and ask for a local (nothern Jersey) 300ZX owner to help.

Thanks

I had been talking to a "Warren" from parent company TPM Products about testing them (my name is Jon), but I'm located in San Francisco, CA. It would be a little out of your way...

Do you mind a 240sx w/ 300zx rear brake? I can request help from any such car owners in the area.

I presume it will work as long as they share the same rear spindle although I am not so sure about the possible dust shield interference (brake drum backing palte) as 240SX has smaller rotors than 300ZX, but again if he already has 300ZX brake there as you said then 240SX shall be fine.

Thank you for your help.

Thanks guys. I think we can use all helps from all Z enthusiasts, in fact I also got a phone call from Joe in Springfield NJ about his extensively modified (600HP) 300Z but still with stock brakes offering his help.

Our objective is to design and develop a high performance and affordable brake system for different level of Z racers / enthusiasts. We started out with this stock two piece replacement, but we shall also look into the front upgrade with our 4 piston or 6 piston calipers BBK and oversized rear BBK for a balanced and ultimate braking performance,

We shall contact you early next week for appointment.

Thanks again.

Posted on Zilvia.net and FreshAlloy.com 240sx sections.

A couple have expressed interest (maybe it's one of those above?)

When reading through the thread, I note that you have a front brake kit that utilizes the 350z track rotor and the stock caliper on the non track edition 350z. I have a set up, though not provided by you, on the front of my car that utilizes the 350z track rotor and the stock z32 caliper. I think something like this will make a good match for your rear kit, as it is very much in keeping with the concept of a true budget BBK.

We prefer to deal with a local 300Z owner for the fitment test. Allow us to clarify and make sure you all are aware that this is a project only for stock rear two piece rotor upgrade for 300ZX, or an oversize upgrade for 240SX.

Although you may suggest /indicate your ultimate interest in terms of your ideal brake upgrade and we will look into it further down the road however it?s not the focus at this moment.

Sounds like just what the Dr. ordered.

Again I am in northern NJ, about 30 minutes from your Boonton location, and would be happy to lend a hand.

Regards, Barry
