Other Reference Bedding Procedure
For Surface Transforms Ceramic Brakes
Step 1 - Gentle Stops
Target: To bed the pad and disc geometry
20 Normal stops from 50kmh (30mph) down to zero with light pedal pressure.
Step 2 - Medium Stops
Target: To increase the pad temperature above 400°C to condition the pad.
20 medium stops from 120kph to 40 kph (75mph to 25mph) at about 0.4 to 0.5 g
Step 3 - Heavier Stops (Not applicable to sintered pads, this step can be waived for sintered pads)
Target: To fade the pad and outgas.
10 heavier stops from 125kph to 40 kph (78mph to 25mph) at about 0.6 g Try to do 4 stops a minute.
Step 4 - Cool down
Target: To control the cool down
Cool the brakes down to below 100 °C by driving at about 80 kph (50mph) without braking for about 10-15 minutes.
*NOTE: ONLY PERFORM THE ABOVE PROCEDURE WHERE IT's SAFE AND LEGAL TO DO SO*

For PCCB (Porsche Ceramic Brakes)
This procedure is identical for all disc sizes and consists of three phases.
The aim of the first phase is to create sufficiently high contact between brake disc and brake pad.
The purpose of the following second and third phases is to fully develop the friction film between brake pad and brake disc.
Phase 3 can be reduced by two or three brake applications at maximum deceleration (ABS control range) from 100–110mph down to zero. The time interval between these should be around three minutes.
Phase 1
15 brake applications of 10 seconds each at minimum deceleration (roughly 20 percent) from 100 to 50mph at approximately 30 second intervals.
Phase 2
15 brake applications of 7 seconds each at low deceleration (roughly 30 percent) from 100 to 50mph at approximately one minute intervals.
Phase 3
15 brake applications of 7 seconds each at medium deceleration (roughly 40 percent) from 110 to 50mph at approximately two minute intervals.

Carbon Ceramic Brake Bed-In Procedure
Bedding-In Instruction for new CCM brake pads & discs
Care Point: New pads and discs must be bedded in otherwise the overall brake performance will be degraded and use light brake applications if possible whilst driving to the location.
Bedding new brake pads/discs - Carbon Ceramic Material (CCM)
Step 1:- Slow the vehicle 10 times from 80 km/h (50 mph) to 30 km/h (19 mph) at ~0.3g
- The disc temperature should be between 100-300 C the cycle time is around 10 seconds (between brake applications)
- Drive 3 km (2 miles) to allow the brakes to cool.
- Slow the vehicle 10 times from 120 km/h (75 mph) to 30 km/h (19 mph) at ~0.5g
- The disc temperature should be between 100-500 C the cycle time is around 15 seconds (between brake applications)
- Drive 3 km (2 miles) to allow the brakes to cool.
- Slow the vehicle 10 times from 140 km/h (88 mph) to 30 km/h (19 mph) at ~0.7g
- The disc temperature should be between 100-700 C the cycle time is around 20 seconds (between brake applications).
- Drive 4 km (2.5 miles) to allow the brakes to cool.
Care Point: The cool-down periods are the minimum needed and can be longer.
